This series was a collaboration with Loren Billington of HER Boudoir Photography . Loren approached me with the idea to do a dark boudoir shoot and with bright florals in bloom and spring themes underway, it was an excellent opportunity for me to design something in stark contrast using my favorite color- black. I worked on styles with a soft, "gothic elegance" in mind, they were inspired by one of my favorite quotes by Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland-
"When you can't look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark..."
